Iran News: Clerical Regime Vows to Continue Terror Sponsorship Through Masoud Pezeshkian

As the leading state sponsor of terrorism, the clerical dictatorship ruling Iran has doubled down on its commitment under new President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian. In a recent phone conversation with the Houthis’ Supreme Political Council head Mahdi Al-Mashat, Pezeshkian lauded the group’s aggressive military actions in the Red Sea, including attacks on commercial ships and foreign vessels.

Pezeshkian emphasized that the Houthi’s actions represent “a practical support for Palestine,” slamming other Arab countries for what he called “their inaction.” This endorsement by the regime’s new president highlights Tehran’s continued role as a primary instigator of violence and unrest in the Middle East.

Moreover, Pezeshkian’s condemnation of certain Arab nations for their perceived inaction reveals the regime’s divisive rhetoric aimed at fostering discord among Muslim countries. His assertion that the West’s subversive policies are to blame for the region’s turmoil deflects from Tehran’s own role in perpetuating violence through its proxy groups.

In the last few days since being appointed as the regime’s new president, Pezeshkian has reiterated Tehran’s support for terrorist groups. In a message to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Pezeshkian underscored the regime’s long-standing policy of backing terrorist activities in the region.

Pezeshkian’s outreach extends to other notorious figures as well. He recently spoke with Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, reaffirming Tehran’s commitment to strengthening ties with the Assad regime, which has been widely condemned for its brutal crackdown on its own citizens and the use of chemical weapons.

These statements show that the death of the regime’s former president Ebrahim Raisi, a key figure in consolidating power and suppressing internal dissent, has not led Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to change course. Instead, the regime has continued its oppressive tactics domestically while exporting terror abroad. The recent sham elections, marked by significant boycotts, highlight the Iranian populace’s growing discontent with the regime’s tyrannical rule.

Despite widespread condemnation, the clerical dictatorship remains steadfast in its support for terrorist activities, further destabilizing an already volatile region. Pezeshkian’s presidency, thus far, signals a continuation of Tehran’s dangerous policies and if world leaders continue to ignore what they already know about the regime, the world is poised to become a more dangerous place, not a safer one.
