Congress Forms Bipartisan House Committee on Iranian Women
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) announced the formation of a bipartisan caucus of nearly 20 lawmakers on Thursday, which focuses on the women of Iran. The caucus, named the Iranian Women Congressional Caucus, will serve as a forum in which members of Congress can address issues and developments relating to women’s freedom and democracy in Iran. The committee’s first move was a joint resolution condemning the chemical attack on Iranian school girls.
The House also passed a more detailed resolution in February that supported the protests and its leader, Maryam Rajavi. It also supported Rajavi’s 10-point plan, which calls for the universal right to vote, free elections, and a market economy, as well as gender, religious, and ethnic equality.

Iranian Authorities to Form Teams to Enforce Hijab Law

Toxic Terror: Iranian Schoolgirls Poisoned
Today, we are discussing a serious issue that has been causing concern and outrage in Iran and beyond the poisoning of schoolgirls in Iran. Reports have emerged of multiple incidents of Iranian schoolgirls being targeted with toxic chemicals in their schools, causing serious harm to their health. So, let’s start with what we know about the situation. These incidents have been happening since November 30. The chemical attacks paused for a few weeks during the Persian New Year holidays but resumed on the first day of school after Nowruz. The attacks have been highly targeted and directed mainly at Iranian schoolgirls. More than 500 schools in over 110 cities throughout Iran have reported incidents of students being poisoned.
Khamenei’s Gaze on the East; And Against the Iranian People in 2023
“The Letter of the Sultan’s Rules” was a piece of advice for Shah Sultan Hussein in the late Safavid period, but it was not useful, and his dynasty went with the wind. The letter states that whenever a sultan leans towards a side, he should be on this path so as not to harm the people. Agriculture should not be destroyed, the faces of the disabled should not suffer, and the sighs should not rise from the hearts of the helpless. As usual, no tyrannical and despotic sultan pays attention to these recommendations until his overthrow, relying on the military and looting the people’s property, and justifying the religious arguments of the mullahs and the world-warming lords. Shah Sultan Hussein’s story is the same in our time.
