Iran’s nationwide uprising marked its 140th day on Thursday as the latest protests in Abdanan, western Iran, and other cities across the country were a reminder of the Iranian people’s determination to continue the nationwide uprising.
Tonight, in Tabriz, northwest Iran, defiant youth projected a large image of Iranian Resistance Leader Massoud Rajavi and opposition coalition NCRI President-elect Maryam Rajavi, near the city’s expressway.

Also today, in Shahreza, Isfahan Province, central Iran, an explosion targeted the city judiciary building.
The MEK-affiliated resistance units in a series of operations torched the sign of the infamous Ministry of Intelligence in the capital Tehran, and the pro-regime propaganda posters in Kermanshah, western Iran, Behshahr northern Iran, and also Astara, northwestern part of the country.

Late last night in the capital city Tehran’s Naziabad and Rudaki districts Locals chanted: “Death to the dictator!” “This is the year Seyed Ali (Khamenei) is overthrown!”
On Thursday morning farmers from eastern parts of Isfahan Province gathered in the city of Isfahan with their tractors holding a protest rally and demanding answers to their economic dilemmas. They began chanting anti-regime slogans during this gathering, including: “Death to Khamenei!”
The farmers of Isfahan and other provinces have long been protesting the deteriorating conditions of the province’s farming industry and water shortages.

The regime’s policies and destructive projects, including the building of dams with no regard for the province’s ecosystem, have rendered severe ecological problems and damage to the province’s agriculture sector.
Also on Thursday workers of a local steel company in the city of Sirjan in Kerman Province, south-central Iran, held a protest rally seeking answers to their economic demands that have long gone neglected by regime officials.

In Zahedan, the capital of Sistan & Baluchestan Province in southeast Iran, regime authorities dispatched military helicopters to fly above the city to instill a climate of fear among the locals. Their aim is to prevent anti-regime protests that are anticipated tomorrow following Friday mass prayers.

In Khoy, northwest Iran Locals confronted and protested against the city’s governor, voicing their anger over the regime’s refusal/failure to provide any meaningful aid following Saturday’s 5.9 magnitude earthquake.

Targeting Iran, US Tightens Iraq’s Dollar Flow, Causing Pain
BAGHDAD (AP) — For months, the United States has restricted Iraq’s access to its own dollars, trying to stamp out what Iraqi officials describe as rampant money laundering that benefits Iran and Syria. Iraq is now feeling the crunch, with a drop in the value of its currency and public anger blowing back against the prime minister.
The exchange rate for the Iraqi dinar has jumped to around 1,750 to the dollar at street exchanges in some parts of the country, compared to the official rate of 1,460 dinars to the dollar.
In Baghdad, exchange houses were closed on Thursday, while the Kurdistan Regional Government banned exchange companies in Sulaimaniyah from making transfers.
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Interior Affairs Conducts Operations Against Henchmen of Iranian Drug Lords: 36 People Detained
The operation has been carried out against henchmen of Iranian drug lords in Azerbaijan, 36 were detained and 114 kilograms of drugs were removed from illegal circulation, APA reports citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.
According to the information, members of an organized crime group who send large quantities of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan under their “Punhan”, “Baba”, “Payman”, “Araz” and etc. conventional names and attract young people to drug couriers tempting promises on social networks, have been detained. A total of 36 people engaged in illegal activities were detained by the Main Drug Enforcement Department of MIA during a series of operations in the capital and regions in the last 20 days, and 114 kilograms of various narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, electronic scales, and 3 thousand units of ecstasy and methadone pills were removed from illegal circulation. We present operational footage of the detention of some patrons of the drug lords living in Iran, whose identities have not been determined by the investigation.
Senate Inquiry Recommends Listing Iran’s Revolutionary Guard as a Terrorist Group, Further Magnitsky Sanctions
Australia’s government needs to take steps to list the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organisation and expand the list of individuals and entities targeted by Magnitsky sanctions, a Senate inquiry has found.
The Senate Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade References Committee on Wednesday tabled its report into the human rights implications of recent violence in Iran, making 12 recommendations for action by the Australian government.
It suggested the government increase the intake of Iranians under various visa programs, “with a particular focus on women, girls and persecuted minorities seeking to escape the regime”.

More Protests Spread Across Iran as Earthquake Crisis Continues in Khoy
Iran’s nationwide uprising is marking its 139th day on Wednesday as cities across the country are seeing people from different social sectors taking to the streets and protesting the regime’s rule. On Tuesday night many protesters chanted slogans criticizing regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, the mullahs’ Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and paramilitary Basij, and their security forces apparatus.
Reports also indicate an escalating atmosphere of dissent and tension in the city of Khoy following Saturday’s 5.9 magnitude earthquake that has left many devastated and in need of urgent aid. Authorities have dispatched many security units to the city and are even attacking anyone asking for a tent and/or protesting the harsh conditions.
Massoumeh Senobari Re-arrested, Mek Political Prisoners To Be Banished
According to the news published in recent days, Massoumeh Senobari was arrested on December 31, 2022, in Karaj and transferred to the city’s Fardis Prison (Kachouii). Ms. Senobari’s family is unaware of her condition and is worried about her.
Massoumeh Senobari, the daughter of Mohammad Ali, was born in 1988 in Tabriz and has a daughter. She had been sentenced to 8 years in prison on charges of “propaganda against the state” and “insulting” the mullahs’ supreme leader and was imprisoned in the women’s ward of the Central Prison of Tabriz.
Iran: Productivity Plan or Distributing Spoil?
The Iranian regime’s government has recently decided to implement a controversial plan called the ‘Productivity plan”. With this decision having been made to compensate for the regime’s budget deficit, through this plan the regime intends to sell the government’s surplus and stagnant properties worth millions of dollars.
In many developed countries around the world, efforts are being made to make government assets productive. The concept of making the government’s assets productive is to identify unused or low-productivity assets that have been abandoned and then sell them to the private sector to optimize them or make them productive again.
3 Citizens in Mashhad Charged With Moharebeh
Majid Khoshmanzar, 49, a senior employee of the Traffic Control Center at Mashhad’s Municipality, and his son, Amir Reza Khoshmanzar, a boxing champion, along with another citizen in Mashhad, Babak Zarin, were arrested by the Ministry of Intelligence during nationwide protests in October 2022. Iran’s Judiciary has sentenced all three citizens to Moharebeh (War on God). The precise date of their arrests is not known as it had been kept away from public awareness. According to informed sources, they were arrested just a few days after October 26, 2022, during a commemoration ceremony for the slain Mahsa Amini after 40 days.
