Iran’s nationwide uprising marked its 127th day on Friday, with thousands of worshipers in Zahedan, the capital of the southeastern Province of Sistan and Baluchistan, taking to the streets in a powerful anti-regime demonstration following the Friday prayer congregation in the city.

The protest was held despite strict security measures including checkpoints set up by the security forces, who searched vehicles for anti-regime banners and placards.

The protesters chanted, “Death to Khamenei!”, “Death to IRGC! Death to Basiji!”, “Death to the dictator!”, “I will kill those who killed my brother!”, “We don’t want a republic of executions!”, “This is the year Seyed Ali (Khamenei) is overthrown!”, “Khamenei is a murderer! His rule is illegitimate!”, “Khamenei, have some shame! Let go of the country!” and “Death to the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Leader.”

Also on Friday, people in the cities of Khash and Rask in Sistan and Baluchistan Province, staged anti-regime protests, chanting “Death to Khamenei,” and “death to Basiji,” and “Khamenei have some shame! Let go of the country.”

In the northern city of Babolsar, locals wrote graffiti on walls, saying, “The IRGC is the murderer of the Iranian people!”

People in the city of Galikesh in Golestan Province in the northeast, Iran demonstrated in large numbers and chanted anti-regime slogans, including: “Basij and IRGC! You are our ISIS!”

Also in Golestan Province, people in the city of Gorgan gathered to mark the 40th day of Ayda Rostami’s murder by regime security forces. Security units attacked the ceremony and arrested several protesters.

Last night in Tabriz, the capital of the East Azerbaijan Province, northwest Iran, projected a large image of Iranian Resistance Leader Massoud Rajavi and opposition coalition NCRI President-elect Maryam Rajavi on a building in the city’s Sahandiyeh Square.

Also last night, in Rudsar, northern Iran, defiant youth torched a base of the IRGC’s paramilitary Basij units.

On Thursday evening, locals in the western Iranian city of Saqqez, Mahsa Amini’s hometown, celebrated the European Parliament’s resolution calling on the European Union to designate the IRGC as a terrorist group.

DUBAI, Jan 19 (Reuters) – Iran’s armed forces general staff, which coordinates activities between its conventional army and the Revolutionary Guard Corps, warned the European Union on Thursday not to list the elite force as a terrorist entity, state media reported.

On Wednesday, the European Parliament called for the EU to list the Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organisation, blaming it for the repression of domestic protesters and the supply of drones to Russia’s military engaged in Ukraine.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), welcomed the resolution adopted by the European Parliament which called on the European Union to place the IRGC, Basij and the Quds Force on the terrorist list, to ban any economic activity with these entities and sanction the regime’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, its President Ebrahim Raisi and foundations related to the IRGC, including the Mustazafin, Shahid, and Janbazan foundations.

Iran Protests Continue With IRGC in Crosshairs of European Blacklisting

Iran’s nationwide uprising is marking its 126th day on Thursday with people especially in the capital Tehran continuing their anti-regime campaign in the form of night protests. The ruling mullahs continue to seek a solution to this crisis as signs indicate that Europe is setting the regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) in its crosshairs with new punishing measures.

Protests in Iran have to this day expanded to at least 282 cities. Over 750 people have been killed and more than 30,000 are arrested by the regime’s forces, according to sources of the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).

Farnaz Hosseinzadeh Sentenced to 4 Years of Prison and Flogging

Farnaz Hosseinzadeh was sentenced to 4 years, eight months of imprisonment, and 74 lashes by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court.

Farnaz Hosseinzadeh, 30 years old, from Tehran, and a clothing designer, was arrested by the security forces on Sattar Khan street in Tehran on October 26, 2022, during nationwide protests and taken to Evin prison. After 20 days, Farnaz Hosseinzadeh was transferred from the Ministry of Intelligence detention center, Ward 209 of Evin Prison, to Qarchak Prison. On December 24, 2022, she was temporarily released from Qarchak Prison after posting a bail of 800 million tomans.

Arshia Takdastan Sentenced to Death

Arshia Takdastan is an 18-year-old citizen from Nowshahr, north of Iran. Arshia was born on June 13, 2004. He was accepted to the national entrance exam in electronic engineering and was scheduled to go to university from September 24, 2022. But the Revolutionary Guards-IRGC’s intelligence agents arrested him on their way to class at Nowshahr’s Azadi Square. Iran’s Judiciary has sentenced Arshia Takdastan to death.

According to the statement issued by the Revolutionary Court of Mazandaran, Arshia Takdastan has been charged with Moharebeh and Corruption on Earth. The reasons found to be committing extensive crimes against the state’s security and destroying property in ways that severely disturbed the country’s public order.
