The Iranian Resistance condemns widespread purge of teachers in Kurdistan

NCRI – Ms. Soheila Sadeq, Chair of the Education Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran condemned the widespread purge of nearly 2,000 teachers in the Iranian Kurdistan by the inhuman mullahs’ regime. She called on all teachers and students to support the purged teachers in Kurdistan.

The purge of teachers has begun subsequent to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s visit to the region and it is in accordance with the regime’s comprehensive strategy of imposing total suppression in Iran. The mullahs are not able to combat the nationwide uprisings and demonstrations and by purging the teachers, as a factor, the regime is desperately trying to control the volatile state of the society.

Ms. Sadeq called on all international human rights organizations as well as teacher unions in various countries to condemn the widespread purge of Iranian teachers and support their uprising for freedom and democracy.
