Number of martyrs of the nationwide uprising, which has spread to 214 cities, is more than 500 people
On Friday, November 4, 2022, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) published the names of 22 more martyrs of the Iranian people’s nationwide uprising. Eleven of today’s list are Baluch compatriots killed by the suppressive forces in the city of Khash in a demonstration following the Friday prayer. According to the MEK, the number of martyrs of the uprising, which has spread to 214 cities in the past 50 days, has exceeded 500 people.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), saluted the martyrs of the nationwide uprising, especially those in Khash, who laid down their lives today for the cause of Iran’s freedom. She said that without a doubt, Khamenei and other leaders of the regime and all those involved in these atrocities will be held accountable in the free Iran of tomorrow. Mrs. Rajavi urged the United Nations and its member states to expel this illegitimate regime from the United Nations. The dossier of the crimes of this regime must be referred to the United Nations Security Council, and its leaders must be brought to justice, the NCRI President-elect added.
