Karaj, Central Iran- For the second consecutive day, workers of Iran Kaveh Saipa Company went on strike on Wednesday, March 9, protesting poor living conditions and low wages. Initially, the workers wanted to hold their rally in front of Saipa Company, but the managers of the enterprise in question did not allow them to leave the company’s premises and turned them down. Iran Kaveh Saipa Company is a subsidiary of Saipa Automotive Company.
Tehran- Today, interns at Iran University of Medical Sciences continued their strike for the third consecutive day against 11-month arrears of student scholarships. The students also demanded an increase in student scholarships, adequate living conditions, and the payment of internships.
On Tuesday, March 8, a group of retirees of Iran Telecommunication Company from the provinces of Tehran, Alborz, Khorasan Razavi, Tabriz, Qom, Shiraz, Isfahan, Ahvaz, Ilam, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Zanjan, Lorestan, Markazi province, Mazandaran, Ardabil, and Yazd staged rallies protesting poor living conditions and low pensions.
Tehran- Medical interns at Iran University of Medical Sciences held a protest rally on Tuesday, March 18, to protest the 11-month arrears of student scholarships. The protestors also demanded that the student’s tuition fees be increased accordingly to the current economic situation.
Jask, Hormozgan Province, Southern Iran- For the second consecutive day, fishermen protested in front of the city’s naval affairs office against the Chinese trawl vessels dominating Iranian waters, which in addition to environmental damage, is seriously threatening the livelihood of indigenous peoples.
Tehran- On Tuesday, Scammed clients of “King Money”, a cryptocurrency network, held a rally in front of the Ministry of Mining and Industries and protested against the officials’ refusal to address their complaints.
Shush, Khuzestan Province, Southern Iran- Workers of Shush Khuzestan Municipality staged a rally on Tuesday, March 8, protesting the officials’ refusal to address their demands.
Ahvaz, Khuzestan Province- A group of teachers staged a rally in front of the Ahvaz court on Tuesday, to protest the arrest and trial of three members of the teachers’ union.
Kermanshah, Western Iran- Dental students held a protest rally on Tuesday, March 8, protesting the officials’ refusal to address their demands. According to these protestors, most of the professors have left the university, it doesn’t have a vice-chancellor and dean for three months and the state is refusing to allocate a sufficient budget for the internet services.
Lamerd, Fars Province, Central Iran- Truck drivers staged a rally in front of the Lamerd governor’s office on Tuesday, March 8, to protest the lack of fuel.
Malayer, Hamadan Province, Western Iran- Taxi drivers staged a rally on Tuesday, March 8, to protest the fare reduction that has rendered them unable to feed their families.
Tehran- On Tuesday, March 8, retired personnel of Homa Airlines held a rally in front of the Iranian regime’s parliament building to protest the state’s decision to transfer Homa Pension Fund to the State Pension Fund.
Tehran- On Tuesday, March 8, the caretakers and servants of several schools, held a rally in front of the parliament to protest dire living conditions and unbearable wages.
Bushehr, Bushehr Province, Iran- On Monday, March 7, the workers of Satrap Company as well as workers of the Setareh Taraz Company went on strike for the second consecutive day, protesting the authorities’ refusal to pay their wages in January and February.
Shahrekord, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Southwest Iran- Roadworkers held a protest rally on Monday, March 7, to protest the authorities’ refusal to pay their salaries.
Aghajari, Khuzestan Province, Southern Iran -On March 6, gardeners of Aghajari Oil and Gas Company gathered in front of the National Company for Southern Oilfields in Ahvaz to protest unemployment, uncertain contract terms, and lack of job security.
Tabriz, East Azerbaijan Province, Northwestern Iran- Official employees of Tabriz Municipality held a protest rally on Sunday, March 6, to protest the officials’ refusal to pay their wages for Eid.
Bushehr, Bushehr Province, Iran- On Sunday, March 6, the contract workers working at Bushehr Petrochemical Company went on strike to protest the company’s refusal to pay their salaries. As the year draws to a close, project workers in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries have been unpaid for several months, and contractors have no plans to pay arrears until the beginning of next year.
Asalouyeh, Bushehr Province, Southern Iran- According to reports from sources inside the Free Trade Union of Iran, workers who work in the South Pars Gas Complex went on a hunger strike to protest the low quality of food and refused to deliver food rations.

Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province, Western Iran- On Tuesday, March 8, honoring International Women’s Day, a group of women rights activists organized a ceremony and read their resolution that demanded the end of discrimination and misogyny.
Rasht, Gilan Province, Northern Iran- On March 7, a group of women activists gathered in front of the mayor’s office and celebrated International Women’s Day by lighting candles and placing photos of Mona Heydari and Romina Ashrafi, two victims of the misogynist regime in Iran. Many people joined these women to support them. Women activists spoke to the public about the killings and the lack of laws protecting women.
