Iran’s Regime Attempts to Kill Mother of Slain Famous Blogger
The mother of a slain activist and weblogger fell victim to attempted murder. According to reports from insider Iran, while Gohar Eshghi, Sattar Beheshti’s mother, was underway to the cemetery to pay tribute to her son, two aggressors on a motorcycle approached her from behind and pushed her strongly towards the ground. The incident led to Mrs. Eshghi losing consciousness. Sattar Beheshti’s mother was taken to the hospital by locals and later discharged after the necessary examinations.
Early November 2012, Sattar Beheshti, an ordinary worker, and a blogger was arrested and killed under torture by the Iranian Cyber Police unit for criticizing the regime on Facebook. His reported death has drawn international condemnation and ever since his mother and sister became vocal critics of the Iranian regime.

Raisi Is Welcomed By Large Demonstrations in Lorestan
Amid the Iranian regime’s president, Ebrahim Raisi’s staged visit to Lorestan Province, railway workers held a large gathering, protesting the officials’ refusal to care for their supplementary insurance, paying their salaries, as well as the lack of safety equipment at work.

Iranian Currency Will Continue to Fall, State-run Website Foresees
The state-run Basirat news website predicted that in the coming days, the price of the US dollar will pass the 40,000 tomans threshold.
Basirat, which is close to the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guards wrote on Thursday: “The price of the currency has increased since last week and has also crossed the 30,000 toman bar.”
“There are speculations in society that suggest the news of [economic] prosperity is fabricated and that is why the price is rising,” added Basirat. “At its height, the daily demand for paper banknotes is about $4 million to $5 million, and the number that is injected into the market is many times higher, but a large portion of that amount is spent on brokerage and this is increasing the prices.”
“Bottom line, the price of the US dollar may reach 32,000 tomans in the next couple of days and even pass 40,000 tomans in the next stage,” the website conlcuded.

Hundreds of Nurses Want to Leave Iran, Officials Admits
Abbas Ebadi, Deputy Minister of Nursing at the Ministry of Health said: “In 2020, at least 1250 nurses applied for immigration. Although upon estimates, the real figure would be 1.5 or 2 times more. If we take an average of 1500 people, we can say that this equals 30 nursing schools that train human resources, and this is a wake-up call for the health system.”

Iranians in Belgium Call on Europe to End Tolerance of Tehran’s Terror Network
Today, the Antwerp Court of Appeals started its fourth session in the case of three terror associates of the Iranian regime’s diplomat Assadollah Asadi. The four convicted terrorists were arrested and charged with attempted terrorist murder and participation in the activities of a terrorist group for plotting a bomb attack against a large gathering of the Iranian Opposition in 2018.
During the court’s third session, two Belgian bomb experts explained the effects of the bombing, which was delivered by Assadollah Asadi to Nasimeh Naami and Amir Saadouni and was to be detonated at the summit in Villepinte, Paris. Clearly contradicting the defendant’s claim that they hold the explosive for nothing more than “firework” or a “sound bomb”, the experts explained how this particular type of bomb would have a deadly impact, turning every hard projectile in a wide radius into deadly shrapnel and kill dozens of people.
Outside the Antwerp Court of Appeals, Iranians and supporters of the Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MEK/PMOI) organized a demonstration, demanding the closure of the Iranian regime’s embassies and expelling the affiliated agents from European soil.

Iran: Unjustly Detained Students Harshly Beaten: Ali Younesi & Amirhossein Moradi
Amnesty International- Iranian university students Ali Younesi and Amirhossein Moradi, arbitrarily detained without trial in section 209 of Tehran’s Evin prison since 10 April 2020, are at risk of being convicted in a grossly unfair trial of a spurious charge that carries the death penalty. Ministry of intelligence agents beat them and held them in prolonged solitary confinement in harsh conditions to extract forced “confessions”. They are prisoners of conscience targeted for exercising their right to family life.

Iran: Coronavirus Takes the Lives of 486,800
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced this afternoon, Thursday, December 9, 2021, that the COVID-19 death toll in 547 cities has exceeded 486,800. In Tehran, the number of victims has reached 113,995, Khorasan Razavi 39,480, Isfahan 33,440, Gilan 16,935, Lorestan 16,160, Alborz 14,273, Golestan 10,615, Kurdistan 7,997, Semnan 6,440, North Khorasan 6,188, Ardabil 6,140, South Khorasan 4,241, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 3,750, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 3,644.

“Your Dead Body That Will Go Out of This Door”— Ex-political Prisoner Testifies in Hamid Noury Trial
Tuesday marked the forty-eighth session of the Hamid Noury trial, in Stockholm, Sweden. Noury, a former official in various prisons of Iran, is charged with torturing inmates in the Gohardasht prison (Karaj) and taking part in the 1988 massacre of thousands of political prisoners. Noury was apprehended by Swedish authorities during a trip to the country in 2019. He is now standing trial in a court where many of his victims are giving harrowing testimonies of how he and other regime officials brutally tortured and executed prisoners.

Three Women Hanged in Kerman Prison, in Southern Iran
With the three women hanged in Kerman Prison, the number of women executed in Iran since 2013 reaches 127. Reliable reports from inside Iran say that the authorities of the Central Prison of Kerman hanged three women and three men, this morning, Thursday, December 9, 2021. The three executed men were Gholam Barahouii, Saeed Dahmardeh, and Khaled Shahbakhsh. The identities of the three women have not been verified, yet.
