Monday Protest in Iran
According to reports from inside Iran, various working groups in different cities and provinces held rallies to protest the current state of affairs that has led to so much suffering and discrimination across the country.
Retired personnel of the state media held a protest rally today and asked the regime’s officials to address their complaints.
For the seventh consecutive day, workers at Haft Tappeh gathered in front of the Shush governor’s office. The workers want their due wages paid, their fired colleagues returning to work, the contracts of seasonal workers and those in the pest control section extended, as well as the cultivation operations and factory repairs executed.

On Monday, a group of Homa Airlines retired personnel held a rally in front of the regime’s parliament. According to the protesters, the Homa Pension and Employee Fund is refusing to address their problems.

Iranians Call for Justice in Different Countries
Today, Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization demonstrated in several countries and asked the international community to persecute the perpetrators of the 1988 massacre in Iran and hold them to account for crimes against humanity.
Also today, Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization demonstrated in Stockholm, where Hamid Nouri, one of the 1988 massacre perpetrators is on trial by the Swedish judiciary.

Iran Cannot Set New Conditions for Resuming Nuclear Talks – Germany
Germany would reject any Iranian demands for the United States to release frozen Iranian assets as a condition for nuclear talks to resume, Germany’s foreign ministry said on Monday.
“If here new conditions are being set by Iran for talks to be resumed, then we reject that,” a German foreign ministry spokesman said after Iranian foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian’s demand for assets worth 10 billion dollars to be released as a goodwill gesture.
Iranian Regime Increases Oppressive Measures via Police Stations
As a new repressive measure, the clerical regime is dispatching hundreds of clerics to police stations under the pretext of conducting ‘preventional advice and promoting virtue’. Alireza Adiani, head of the ideological-political organization of the regime’s police force, said: “Since Sunday, clerics have been stationed in 300 major police stations.”
Admitting to the role of the police in suppressing the uprising of the people of Khuzestan, he added: “The police force did a great job during the sedition of Khuzestan.”
‘Preventional advice and promoting virtue’ is mainly used against youth and women to oppress their freedom and prevent the people from raising their voice against the clerical ruling system in the name of Islamic Shariah.
Land Subsidences Are A Ticking Bomb in Iran, Experts Warn
Rokna state news agency wrote: “Iran is being deserted. Land subsidences are spreading dangerously throughout Iran and they are sounding the alarm. Coupled with the spread of drought, land subsidences in Iran are terrifying news and a loud warning.”
Quoting land experts, the report added: “The land subsidences in Isfahan is in a state of crisis. The number of deep wells in central Iran is increasing. This is a “ticking bomb” lacking the attention that it requires from people to address it. The danger is slowly getting bigger and bigger, and “we” are not paying attention. Out of 31 provinces of the country, 29 provinces are at risk of land subsidences.”

AFP- As Iraq heads to the polls on October 10, a spotlight has fallen on the outsized influence neighbouring Iran wields — but also on the growing popular backlash against it. The parliamentary vote is being held early as a concession to a pro-democracy movement that railed against an Iraqi political system it decried as inept, corrupt and beholden to Iran.

Footage Emerged Shows Ebrahim Raisi Confronted Angry Locals in Yasuj
New footage has emerged that shows how Ebrahim Raisi, the Iranian regime president’s convoy has been met with angry locals, during his trip to Yasuj. As the video puts on display, people stopped the cars and despite the active involvement of the security forces, the convoy was put on hold.
“Angry people in the “Tang-e-Sorkh” area blocked the way of the president’s car,” the official state IRNA news agency reported. “People were very angry and upset.”
Shortly afterward, the state media removed all footage taken from the scene. But last night, the footage was published on social media, which shows the intensity of hatred and anger of the people against the leaders of the regime.

Amid Iranian Pilgrims Return from Iraq, Contracting Numbers Expected to Rise
The state-run newspaper Jomhuri Eslami wrote: “The Ministry of Health and the National Covid-19 Task Force did not stand up to those who tried to send 60,000 Iranians to Iraq for the Arbaeen march, despite their duty to prevent the spread of the virus. Later, it turned out that the number of official pilgrims of Arbaeen was 80,000, and when on their way back, the number showed that 180,000 Iranians went to Iraq in various ways and participated in the Arbaeen march.”
The newspaper warned: “The increasing numbers of contracting with Covid-19 is one of the natural consequences of these uncontrolled gatherings. As one of the health officials of Khuzestan warned that with the return of Arbaeen pilgrims, a catastrophe is underway back home.”

Number of Suicide Victims in Iran Is Increasing, While Their Age Is Dropping
State-run Jahane-Sanat newspaper wrote today: “Statistics show an increase of depression among young people. Among frustrated girls who have attempted suicide by jumping down escalators, bridges, or rooftops, an average of 15 people have been killed daily over the past year. Though this year, the figures show an alarming increase. According to forensic data, the age of adolescents who attempted suicide has been declining in recent years, and most of those who have committed suicide since last year, have been youth in primary and secondary school. The number of girls who have committed suicide is higher than boys, mostly in the age range of 12 to 18 years old. The number of girls fleeing their families has been increasing in the last two years as well.”

State-run Newspaper Reveals Iranian Regime’s Plan to Block Internet Access
Citing a bill that has been the subject of the regime’s parliament’s debates for months, the state-run Jahan-e-Sanat newspaper, wrote: “This bill was prepared under the title “Protection of users’ rights on the internet and organizing social media”, while the content of the bill is not designed to protect users’ rights, but contrary to what is been claimed, to block backdoors to websites, deprive users of their rights and block access to global sites. Additionally, all domestic messengers must be subject to constant police surveillance by an oversight body.”
Iranian Student’s Bank Accounts Will Be Suspended, South Korea Warned
On October 1, the South Korean Ministry of Education warned Iranian students in an email that their bank accounts might be suspended. According to a video circulated on Iranian media and the internet, the Ministry of Education of South Korea was sending a message to Iranian students that their scholarships might be canceled due to the closure of their bank accounts.
Reacting to the news, Pouya Firouzi, the Iranian regime’s secretary of the Iran-South Korea Joint Chamber of Commerce said: “Such actions, if not corrected or prevented from being repeated, will have a negative effect in other areas, even economic relations, and it will sideline any positive statement.”
For months, the Iranian regime has clashed with South Korea over $7 billion in frozen funds in Seoul, which has worsened mutual relationships. On September 29, the regime’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei issued an order and banned the import of South Korea’s home appliances.
The volume of economic exchanges between Iran and South Korea before Tehran was sanctioned had reached $17 billion a year. Seoul supplied about 15 percent of its oil from Iran, which dropped near to zero after the increase of sanctions.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Sunday, October 3, 2021, that the COVID-19 death toll in 547 cities had exceeded 447,100. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 104,796, Khorasan Razavi 36,765, Isfahan 3,0030, Khuzestan 27,405, Mazandaran 16,655, Fars 16,059, West Azerbaijan 16,053, Gilan 15,670, Alborz 13,098, Kerman 11,857, Golestan 10,035, Hamedan 8,393, Central Province 8,173, Kermanshah 8,054, Kurdistan 7,092, Zanjan 4,310, Ilam 4,248, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 3,224.

5.7 Magnitude Earthquake Shocks Southwestern Iran, Destroys Homes
An earthquake of 5.7 magnitudes has struck the center of Koohrang County in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, at around 6:09 am local time on Monday, 33 km from Chelgard City. At a depth of 10 km, the earthquake shook the border of Khuzestan and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari provinces. The quake in Koohrang City left 8 injured. The governor of Koohrang said the quake damaged rural and urban homes. Following that, two aftershocks of 3.3 and 3.5 magnitudes struck Ghale Khajeh in Khuzestan province and an aftershock of 3 magnitudes struck the Chelgard region.
Saudi Arabia Deeply Concerned About Iranian Regime’s Nuclear Program
In a meeting with E.U. foreign policy chief Joseph Borrell, Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan and Adel al-Jubeir expressed concern over the Iranian regime’s nuclear program and the destructive actions of Houthi militants affiliated with Tehran.
According to Al-Arabiya on Sunday, Faisal bin Farhan who was speaking at a joint news conference with Joseph Borrell said that he was “deeply concerned” about the Iranian regime’s violations of the nuclear deal, which contradict its claims that its nuclear program was peaceful.
Addressing Joseph Borrell, Faisal bin Farhan stressed Saudi Arabia’s position in support of international efforts to prevent the Iranian regime from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
Iranian Authorities Worried About Growing Activities of Mek Resistance Units
On Friday, Ahmad Alamolhoda, the representative of the Iranian regime’s supreme Ali Khamenei in Mashhad, warned about the growing influence of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) among Iranian youth. “In all seditions around our Islamic country, we can find the MEK’s footsteps. Our hatred and disgust for the hypocrites inside and outside this land have always been expressed,” Alamalhoda said.
Iran: Teachers, Steel Workers, Pensioners Hold Protest Rallies Across Country
Active and retired teachers and education workers held rallies across the country on Sunday, protesting destructive government policies that are jeopardizing their livelihoods. The demonstrations were held in front of Majlis (parliament) in Tehran, Kermanshah, Ahvaz, Shiraz, Khorram Abad, Qazvin, and other cities. In front of the Majlis, the teachers were chanting, “Teachers raise your voices and shout for your rights.” In Ahvaz, the protesters were chanting, “Teachers are awake and fed up with discrimination.” In Shiraz, a large group of teachers had gathered and were reiterating their demands.
September Iran Protests Report: 340 Protests
According to collected reports by sources affiliated with the Iranian Resistance in September, there were at least 340 recorded protests in 109 cities. Teachers held 145 protests in 57 cities, workers held 65 protests in 26 cities, pensioners held 15 protests in eight cities and defrauded creditors held seven protests in three cities. Other protests included bazaar merchants who held two protests, students who held two protests, truck drivers who held two protests, and farmers who gathered once. Poultry farmers, doctors, and taxi drivers gathered once. Other sectors also held 90 protests in 48 cities.
Isolation and Death of Social Sciences in Iran
The most dangerous blow to a country and its people is the lack of ‘progressive’ society with an open and free mind for changes and development. Without any doubt, the worst crime of the mullahs’ regime against Iran’s people has been the destruction of the society’s mentality and healthy social relation, dissidents argue. The state-run newspaper Etemad, in an article titled ‘Isolation of Social Sciences in Iran’, examined the situation of social sciences in Iran over the past 42 years.
