Father of Three Border Porter Killed by IRGC Forces in NW Iran
A border porter or “kolbar” was killed by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces yesterday in Urmia, northwestern Iran. According to the Hengaw Organization, the kolbar was identified as 43-year-old Abdolaziz Hajipour, father to three children. IRGC forces opened fire on him at a close range. Abdulaziz’s body has not yet been handed over to his family for burial.
Women Arbitrarily Detained by the Ministry of Intelligence and the IRGC
In recent days, young women in Kurdistan and Khuzestan provinces have been arbitrarily detained by the Ministry of Intelligence and the IRGC. The IRGC Intelligence and Intelligence Ministry forces arrested Nahid Kamangar in Kamyaran, Arezoo Rahimkhani, a university professor in Andimeshk, and 16-year-old Gina Hassani Moghaddam in Sanandaj.
