Iran Elections 2021: Regime Concerned of a Mere 25 Percent Turnout
In previous articles, we explained how the regime ruling Iran is struggling with the upcoming sham presidential election in June. On the one hand, the regime is confronted with a dissatisfied society unwilling to participate in the election. On the other hand, while we are only one month away from the official registration, no serious candidate has announced willingness to run for office.
Iran: Interior Ministry Official Confirms Protesters Shot at Point-Blank Range
Ruhollah Jomeyi, the consultant of the regime’s Interior Minister acknowledged that 23 percent of the killed protesters during November 2019 major protests were shot at point-blank range. Jomeyi said that these protesters were “shot in the head from close distance.” Several other regime officials have previously acknowledged that security forces gunned down protesters from a close distance during the nationwide protests that spread to more than 190 cities.

Iran: Suspending or Cancelling the Sanctions?
This question about the future of Iran’s 2015 nuclear agreement with world powers which is known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is rightful because both sides of the negotiations are speaking about a “constructive” negotiation, but then they announced that the main barriers are still in place and there was not any agreement about them.
Iran Has Practically Admitted To Pursuing Nuclear Weapons, and the West Must Respond
In February, Iranian Intelligence Minister Mahmoud Alavi provided what appears to be the first high-profile, public acknowledgment of the Iranian regime’s nuclear weapons ambitions. The regime’s adversaries have, of course, long understood that nuclear weapons capability was the ultimate endgame for all of Tehran’s uranium enrichment, stockpiling, and nuclear development activities. But the regime had always publicly denied the obvious, insisting that the expensive and alienating work was only intended for power generation and scientific research.
Iran Denies Women Participation and Decision-Making in Public Life
“Women’s full and effective participation and decision-making in public life” is the principal theme in the 65th meeting of the Commission on the Status of Women in the United Nations in March 2021. For this purpose, this subject would be assessed in Iran under the rule of the current regime, knowing that the ruling religious fascism in Iran, since its inception, was founded on misogyny, marginalizing women, and turning Iranian women into second-class citizens. In the past 40 years, the Iranian regime, in law and in practice, has imposed extreme suppression on Iranian women.
