80,000 Iranian Nurses Infected With COVID-19 in 14 Months

Iranian nurses fall victim to Coronavirus

Fifteen months after the COVID-19 catastrophe in Iran, more than 251,000 Iranians have died in 535 cities according to figures announced by the Iranian Resistance. This is while, according to the Head of Iran’s Nursing Organization, 80,000 Iranian nurses have also been infected with the deadly virus in the past 14 months while around 8,000 healthcare workers are unable to serve due to hospitalization, quarantine, and other related issues.

Iran Intelligence Agents Arrest 3 Christian Converts in Southwestern City

Three Iranians that converted to Christianity from Islam

Three Christian converts were detained by intelligence agents in Dezful southwestern Iran on April 19. According to the Mohabat News website, the three Christians were identified as Esmael Narimanpour, Mohammad Ali Torabi, and Alireza Varak Shah. Their homes were searched and some of their personal belongings including Mohammad Ali’s mobile phone were confiscated.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Monday, April 19, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 539 cities across Iran had surpassed 257,600. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 58,921, Isfahan 16,825, Khorasan Razavi 16,440, Khuzestan 15,554, Mazandaran 10,895, Lorestan 10,858, East Azerbaijan 10,558, West Azerbaijan 9,693, Gilan 9,031, Qom 8,980, Fars 7,647, Alborz 6,518, Hamedan 5,788, Kerman 5,789, Kermanshah 5,159, Yazd 4,587, Kurdistan 4,487, North Khorasan 3,858, Ardabil 3,212, Khorasan South 2,521, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 2,105, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 2,014.

On Tuesday, regime authorities executed Sohrab Mesgari, a prisoner in Gonbad-e Qabus prison, after four years of imprisonment. On Monday, April 12, authorities in Qazvin prison executed Hossein Ramezani, 37, after five years of imprisonment.
