Nowruz, the New Iranian Year, 1400, Celebrated With Mrs. Rajavi’s Remarks
Messages by Political Prisoners, Resistance Units, remarks, and messages by 84 parliamentarians and political dignitaries from 20 countries
In her Nowruz speech, Mrs. Rajavi congratulated the people of Iran and underscored:
- The Iranian people’s readiness for overthrowing the regime is beyond the shadow of a doubt, and the mullahs’ presidential election sham will face their decisive boycott.
- The great advancement of the Iranian year 1399 was Iran’s courageous youth rushing to join the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK/PMOI) and expanding the network of its supporters in Iranian cities.
- Germany, Belgium, and France must publish all documents obtained from the regime’s terrorist diplomat and reveal the agents’ names and contacts working with the clerical regime and its Intelligence Minister.
On Nowruz, Iranians celebrate the memory of the heroes fallen for freedom
As the Persian year comes to a close, people across Iran are paying homage to the countless heroes who have laid their lives down to bring freedom and democracy in Iran.
In Tehran, Resistance Units, activists and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), commemorated the founders of the MEK by laying flowers on their graves in Behesht-e Zahra cemetery.
The founders of the MEK, Mohammad Hanif Nejad, Ali Asghar Badizadegan, and Saied Mohsen, were executed by the Shah regime in 1972 after undergoing severe torture in the prisons of the SAVAK, the Shah regime’s intelligence arm. The Shah regime gave them the choice to reduce their sentence from death to life in prison if they denounced their struggle for freedom. All three refused to bend to the Shah regime’s will. Their sacrifice has set an example for generations of MEK members and supporters, who continue their path and struggle to this day.

Iran regime’s Foreign Ministry Calls Assadi’s Conviction a Dangerous Precedent
In an interview with the Sputnik-Farsi news agency on March 19, Saeid Khatibzadeh, the spokesperson of the regime’s Foreign Ministry called the conviction of Assadollah Assadi, Iran’s diplomat terrorist, a “dangerous precedent.” His words echoes regime’s fear of a similar outcome for its diplomat terrorists.
“We have told all the countries involved from the beginning that [Assadi’s conviction] is a very dangerous precedent against diplomats. Assadi’s detention was illegal, the proceedings were illegal, and that the court is basically illegitimate to address this issue. So the verdict In our opinion, is void and we are following the issue intensively, and we hope that we will be able to end this issue in a way that is more correct. This whole process is illegal and Assadi should return to the country freely,” Khatibzadeh said. Despite his bogus claims, Assadi was caught red-handed while attempting to bomb the opposition rally in 2018 in Paris. The prosecutors underlined that based on the evidence, this terrorist plot was coordinated at the top of the regime.
