Iran – Qom, According to reports on Saturday August 12, a fruit peddler was killed by the municipality agents after he was beaten and his head hit the ground.
He had already accepted to pack his stuff and go home when the municipality agents arrived, but he was prevented, insulted and beaten by them and his head hit the ground, His brother explained in a video clip shared in social media outlets, his brother continued: Agents were trying to take him with them and he was resisting and since people also supported and helped him, he was beaten by regime agents and shortly afterwards he died due to the strike to his head.
Following the death of this peddler, people in Qom staged protest gatherings against regime’s agents.
Qom, the capital of Qom province, is located 125 kilometers south of Tehran, on a low plain.The city is located in the boundary of the central desert of Iran (Kavir-e markazi).
