Maryam Rajavi’s message to the courageous youths of Iranshahr in Iran
Today the Iranian regime’s security forces have attacked Baluch citizens over a few gasoline cans in Iranshahr, a city in Sistan and Baluchistan Province in Iran. Reports say intelligence agents, the IRGC and the police shot in the air and at residents who threw stones to defend themselves.
Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the NCRI sent a Twitter message to support the protesters and the youths of Iranshahr.
The mullahs ruling #Iran are trying in vain to prevent the protests and uprising of the impoverished people of Baluchistan by executions, attacks and destruction of their mosques. These criminal actions will only fuel their anger and hatred of the regime.

Arab News: Iran’s most celebrated fighter pilot Col. Behzad Mo’ezzi dies in Paris aged 83
PARIS: Col. Behzad Mo’ezzi, one of the most celebrated pre-revolution Iranian pilots who piloted the Shah’s final voyage out of Iran to Egypt and then Morocco amid the 1979 revolution, died on Jan. 10 at a hospital in Paris aged 83.
His cause of death was leukemia, according to the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
Col. Behzad Mo’ezzi served in the Iranian Air Force for almost a quarter-century. As a decorated pilot that had recorded the most flight hours at the time, he was chosen by the country’s air force commander as the Shah’s personal pilot.

Townhall: It’s Time to Hold Iran Regime Leaders Accountable for ‘Crime Against Humanity’
The preamble of the Rome Statute, a treaty that established the International Criminal Court (ICC), says that all peoples are united by common bonds, forming a “delicate mosaic” that may be “shattered at any time.” It adds that there are grave crimes committed that “threaten the peace, security and well-being of the world.” Such crimes must not go unpunished and the impunity for the perpetrators must end so that further crimes can be prevented.
According to Amnesty International, “certain crimes are so serious that they amount to an offence against the whole of humanity and therefore all states have a responsibility to bring those responsible to justice.”

Four executions in Zahedan and Qom
The Iranian regime has executed four prisoners. Three of them were executed on Wednesday, January 20, in Zahedan Central Prison and one other on Saturday morning, in Qom Central Prison.
According to HRANA news agency, the three prisoners executed in Zahedan were identified as Abdul Ra’uf Kabdani, Younes Jamshid Zehi and Shamsuddin Baji Zehi.
With 255 executions in 2020, Iran continues to be the world’s top executioner per capita.
Iran: Employees of Milad Hospital in Tehran continue their protest
On Sunday, employees of Milad Hospital in Tehran continued their protest for the second consecutive day, demanding their unpaid wages.
They chanted: “Low income is not the right response to our sacrifice.” As part of its inhumane coronavirus policy, the Iranian regime delays and in many cases denies health professionals from their rights and salaries, despite their hard works during the pandemic.

Iran – Coronavirus Fatalities in 478 Cities Surpass 205,400
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Saturday, January 23, 2021, that the Coronavirus fatalities in 478 cities across Iran had surpassed 205,400. The number of victims in Tehran is 49,906, Isfahan 12,975, Lorestan 8,303, Mazandaran 8,222, Qom 7,980, West Azerbaijan 7,533, Gilan 7,296, Fars 6,227, Golestan 5,180, Sistan and Baluchestan 4,956, Hamedan 4,843, Kerman 4,544, Central Province 4,208, and Qazvin 2,177.

What’s the price of the mullahs staying in power in Iran?
On Thursday, the state-run Arman Daily wrote, “More than 90 percent of Iran’s labor community are in total poverty, and with the current skyrocketing prices, they can’t even procure their most basic needs.”
This simple sentence perfectly depicts the tragic state of Iran’s society and the hell that the ruling mullahs have broken loose on the country’s population.
According to some regime authorities, the poverty line for a family of four in Iran has reached 100 million rials per month. To put that in perspective, most workers earn no more than 30 million rials per month, a third of the minimum they need for living. This is the true meaning of absolute poverty.
Political activist Yousef Kari in dire health conditions after 7 days of hunger strike
Political activist Yousef Kari was transferred to the dispensary of the Prison of Ardabil on the seventh day of his hunger strike.
Mr. Kari protested the insults and foul language used by the prison’s observer assistant prosecutor against him by going on hunger strike. Violation of the rights of political prisoners as well as his segregation and transfer to the quarantine ward are also among his demands.
On the night of January 18, he was taken to the prison’s dispensary as his blood pressure fell to 9 and his pulse was 150. He was on the third day of his dry hunger strike. He had rejected food for seven days, overall.

The special guards’ unit of the Central Prison of Urmia went on rampage to terrorize the prisoners detained in this prison.
On Thursday, January 21, 2021, the special guards’ unit of the Central Prison of Urmia held a maneuver with all its equipment to create an atmosphere of fear and terror among inmates.
The special guards’ unit entered the courtyard, banging their batons on their shields, creating an ear-splitting noise while shouting their chants.
