Iran: Coronavirus Fatalities in 475 Cities Exceeds 192,800

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Sunday, December 27, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 475 cities had exceeded 192,800. The number of victims in Tehran is 47,346, Khorasan Razavi 13,185, Isfahan 11,650, Khuzestan 9,830, Mazandaran 7,267, Gilan 6,841, Fars 5,905, Sistan and Baluchestan 4,711, Kerman 4,179, Kermanshah 4,054, Central Province 4,013, Kurdistan 3,311, Semnan 2,909, Ardabil 2,362, Zanjan 2,012, Ilam 1,990, Bushehr 1,929, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 1,510.

Woman hanged in the Central Prison of Sanandaj despite nervous disorder

The Iranian Judiciary had a woman hanged in the Central Prison of Sanandaj in the morning of Sunday, December 27, 2020.

The woman hanged was identified as Zeinab Khodamoradi, 43 from the city of Qorveh. She had been imprisoned for five years. She suffered from mental imbalance and nervous disorder. Her family did not afford to pay 700 million Tomans set as blood money for the victims, sending her to the gallows.

In the culture of the ruling misogynist mullahs in Iran, women are not considered independent human beings; rather, they represent men’s “honor.” The simple translation for phrases such as “honor” in mullahs’ lexicon is ownership of women by men.

Participants in virtual betting and gambling to receive death sentence for “corruption on Earth”

Vice President of the Judiciary and Legal Commission of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) announced that the Majlis deputies are drafting a bill to deal with those accused of administering gambling website. According to the bill, the accused will be sentenced to death on the charge of “corruption on Earth.”

Earlier, the director of the Center to Combat National and Organized Crimes in the FATA (Cyber Police) had announced that they had arrested 10 citizens in relation with these gambling websites.

Iran: Four Execution in a Day, Including Three Members of Ethnic Minorities

Just a day after Christmas, the Iranian regime raised its 2020’s death penalty’s record to 254 cases with four new executions, including three Iranian Baluchi prisoners.

On December 26, Iranian authorities executed at least four prisoners, according to the human rights association No to Prison – No to Execution. The sentences were carried out in Zahedan Central Prison, southeastern Iran, and Qom Central Prison, southwest of Tehran.
