Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 465 Cities Surpasses 176,500
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced this afternoon, Friday, December 4, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 465 cities exceeded 176,500. The number of victims in Tehran is 43,611, Khorasan Razavi 12,370, Isfahan 10,155, Lorestan 7,185, Qom 7,020,East Azerbaijan 6,978, West Azerbaijan 6,580, Fars 5,127, Alborz 4,715, Sistan and Baluchestan 4,446, Kermanshah 3,771, Kerman 3,604, Kurdistan 3,081,Ardabil 2,057, Bushehr 1,819, Qazvin 1,807, Zanjan 1,797, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 1,370.

Kurdish Citizen Sentenced to 2 Years’ Prison After Being Flogged
An appeals court in the western city of Sanandaj has sentenced Kurdish citizen Foad Enayati, to two years of suspended prison term.
He was initially sentenced to 10 months in prison and 74 lashes on the charge of “disrupting public order through participating in illegal gatherings.”
The flogging sentence against Mr. Enayati which was issued by the Branch 104 of Sanandaj Court, was carried out on July 27, 2020 at the first branch of the city’s court.

The trial continued on Thursday and a verdict is due in late January. Assadi has refused to appear in the Antwerp court, claiming immunity as a diplomat.
On 1 July, 2018, he was arrested and charged with passing 550g of TATP triacetone triperoxide high explosives to an Iranian/Belgian couple from Antwerp. Three days earlier, he is alleged to have given the bomb to Amir Saadouni, 40, and his wife, Nasimeh Naami, 36, instructing them to detonate it at a major gathering of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, attended by tens of thousands of people at Villepinte near Paris, on 30 June 2018.
