The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on October 18, 2020, that the number of Coronavirus fatalities in 458 cities exceeded 126,300. The number of victims in Tehran is 30,311, Khorasan Razavi 9,465, Isfahan 6,599, Mazandaran 5,702, East Azerbaijan 4,478, West Azerbaijan 3,558, Alborz 3,468, Hamedan 3,343, Fars 3,311, Kermanshah 2,763, Kurdistan 2,251, North Khorasan 2,154, Kerman 1,948, Yazd 1,801, Hormozgan 1,630, Ardabil 1,448, Ilam 1,039, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 962, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 879.

Homeless “cardboard sleepers” on the rise in Iran
The Karaj Welfare Organization official said, “cardboard sleepers”, homeless people who sleep on cardboard boxes, had increased in Karaj, sister city to Tehran.
According to the state-run YJC News Agency, Alireza Fatahpour, the Head of the Karaj Welfare Organization said economic problems were the most important reason behind the increase of “cardboard sleepers” in the past decade.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?
Monday, October 19, 2020, marks the 338th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
