The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) announced this afternoon, Aug 31, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 97,300 in 410 cities across Iran. The death toll in various provinces include: 6900 in Khorasan Razavi, 6492 in Khuzestan, 4708 in Mazandaran, 4565 in Qom, 4018 in Gilan, 2796 in Golestan, 2488 in Hamedan, 1991 in Kurdestan, 1299 in Hormozgan, 1261 in Markazi (Central), 1209 in Yazd, 625 in Kohgiluyehn and Boyer Ahmad. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.

Iran, August 30, 2020 – The Resistance Units, the internal network of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), continued their anti-regime activities across the country on Wednesday, August 26, and Saturday, August 29, despite the regime’s brutal oppression and recent death sentences against protesters.

The number of victims in Tehran is 23,545, Mazandaran 4,693, Isfahan 4,369, Lorestan 4,217, Fars 2,718, Kermanshah 2,298, Kerman 1,553, North Khorasan 1,534, Central Province 1,251, Qazvin 834, Ilam 825, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 610.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Monday, August 31, 2020, marks the 289th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
