NCRI – Iranian MP Mahmoud Shekari made strong remarks against President Hassan Rouhani at a parliamentary session on Wednesday.

“Now that the time has come prior to the election season for your cabinet to be assessed for its work in the past four years, the people want to know what happened to your motto of saving the country’s economy,” he said.

“It is said 15 trillion tomans ($4.3 billion) has been provided to facilitate slowing factories and they have become active. According to the statistics, around 350 dairy units and dozens of other factories have been closed during [Rouhani’s] term. Renowned factories such as Arj, Pars Electric, Azmayesh and dozens of others that had been active for 50 years…” Shekari continued.

“I warn the MPs and the government that unemployment is like a time bomb,” said Iranian MP Hamid Banaie.
