NCRI – Mehrdad Bazrpash, a former member of the Iranian regime parliament’s board of speakers questioned figures provided by Hassan Rouhani’s government.

According to Quds terrorist force news agency known as Tasnim on April 2, he wrote on his Instagram page:

Unfortunately, our economic situation is dire, according to friends and foes.

Despite government reports about economic growth, all experts know that this growth was only in the oil sector and all other sectors are becoming smaller and weaker. Our banks and pension funds do not have good conditions and some of them are actually bankrupt.

Bazrbash attacked Rouhani’s government for this and said the government is not in good condition and in this situation cannot continue its activities…

He added that we should not shy away, our economy is falling. And the statesmen are just shooting films from these conditions and will not do something to save the economy.

Tasnim state run news agency on April 1 also quoted Mehrdad Bazrpash as saying that today our major crisis is youth unemployment.

He said: Why do we have so much corruption, poverty and unemployment, and these are doubts that the third and fourth generations after the revolution are faced with.

He pointed out that the inefficiency, particularly in the economy was significant, and said: We have 4 million and 400 thousand students and we continue to accept students and everyone in the postgraduate studies are competing each other, while we were supposed to reduce the problems of the country by expansion of universities, but the problems were not resolved.

This former MP pointed that the regime ranked 74 in the world in issuing business permits and stressed that it was taking 300 days for one person to complete business application and get a result.

Bazrpash said that the market had a limit that was filled with smuggled goods, and added: 65 to 70 billion tomans of smuggled goods are passed through our official customs and the figure has reached to 100,000 billion tomans smuggled goods and this is how unemployment is unabated.
Bazrpash said: Banks are at the top of government and any violation and embezzlement is rooted in the banks. The current situation of the country in terms of economic indicators does not look good and even for the future there is no good estimate.

Former Member of Parliament said that 600,000 billion tomans do not enter into the economy and the economy does not roll and is blocked at the banks, adding 350,000 billion tomans of raw materials and 130 billion tomans of manufactured goods have been in depot in warehouse facilities and the rest of the money is in the Exchange shops and coins among people.

Bazrpash emphasized that the banks have become a government and added: A slight money transfer in the banks of other countries are tracked and the banks must be the major information system while our banks themselves are the root of economic corruption.
