In Khorasan Razavi, Iraj Haririchi, the regime’s Deputy Health Minister, told Astan Razavi TV, yesterday, “The situation of Coronavirus spread in Mashhad has gone from red to critical… In the past month, we have seen a 300% increase in hospitalizations, which is very dangerous.” According to the same state-run TV, the president of Neyshabur University of Medical Sciences said, “Our present status is that the number of hospitalization and death in Neyshabur has gone higher than what it was in late February.”

In Qazvin, a spokesperson for the National Coronavirus Combat Taskforce (NCCT), told Mehr news agency, today, “Restrictions on activities will be extended for another two weeks given the increase in the number of Coronavirus deaths and infections… The number of deaths due to the Coronavirus has almost doubled compared to last week and the continuation of this process is very worrying.”

In Qom, the president of the University of Medical Sciences told IRNA news agency, today, “The number of Coronavirus patients hospitalized has tripled since mid-May.” The Director of Crisis Management of Qom Province told Tasnim news agency, today, “Qom is on the verge of warning about the new round of Coronavirus outbreak and if the number of patients and deaths increases, we will have to re-impose the restrictions.”

According to ISNA news agency, in Mazandaran, today, “Coronavirus is increasing uncontrolled and the number of patients and those hospitalized is increasing daily to an extent that currently 1,921 patients are admitted to hospitals and health centers of Mazandaran and Babol Universities of Medical Sciences. According to ISNA, in Central Province, “The capacity of Amir Al-Momenin Hospital, which has been operating as the Coronavirus treatment center in Arak since late May, was fully occupied on July 21, and accordingly, Khansari Hospital became the second Coronavirus treatment center, which was occupied within 24 hours. The president of Arak University of Medical Sciences said, “With the full occupation of Khansari hospital, a third hospital should be considered … If this process continues, either a field hospital should be established, or beds should be installed in the hospital yard.”

In Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, the deputy director of treatment at the University of Medical Sciences told IRNA today, “143 members of the Province’s medical staff are infected with the Coronavirus. Six months after the Coronavirus outbreak, active workers are tired.
