The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) announced this afternoon, June 4, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 49,300 in 325 cities across Iran. 3835 in Khuzestan, 2790 in Gilan, 2763 in Mazandaran, 1675 in Alborz, 1605 in Lorestan, 1289 in Hamedan, 1165 in Kermanshah, 970 in Kurdestan, 553 in North Khorasan, 315 in Ilam, 305 in Kohgiluyehn and Boyer Ahmad, 260 in Hormozagan, 150 in South Khorasan. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.

Iranian medical professionals continue to contradict the Iranian regime’s claims that the coronavirus outbreak is well under control. Iranian regime began reopening its economy on April 11 after a lockdown that was briefer and more weakly enforced than all those that were imposed throughout the surrounding region. How many people died in Iran’s nationwide uprisings?
Six months after the Iranian regime led a bloody crackdown against nationwide protests, interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli tacitly announced on Saturday that only 200-250 people were killed in the protests. In contrast, according to information obtained by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), during the first few days of the uprising, security forces killed at least 1,500 protesters and made more than 12,000 arrests.
The protests began in November after regime suddenly imposed 300-percent hike on the price of gasoline. During the protests, the ministry of communications shut down Iran’s access across the country to resort the most bloody and coldblooded crackdown in the past 40 years away from the eyes of the world.

Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 325 Cities Exceeds 49,000
- According to the University of Medical Sciences, the number of hospitalizations in Kermanshah yesterday was three-quarters of Tehran’s, with 14 million population.
- Maryam Rajavi warned against the situation of prisoners, especially Urmia prisoners, again urged the United Nations Secretary-General, UN Security Council, and other relevant international bodies to take action to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe in the regime’s prisons.
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) announced this afternoon, June 3, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 325 cities across Iran has risen above 49,000. The number of victims in Khuzestan is 3,780, Isfahan 2,525, Lorestan 1,585, Sistan and Baluchestan 1,580, West Azerbaijan 1,345, Kermanshah 1,140, and Zanjan 520.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?
Thursday, June 4, 2020, marks the 203rd day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
