NCRI – A member of the Syrian National Coalition says that the Iranian regime opposes any talks about Syria. This regime and its backed-up militants have already violated the ceasefire in Syria.

On January 11th 2017, Dr. Naser al-Hariri in an interview with Orient TV stated:”a joint operation room has been formed between Russia and Turkey as the guarantors of the ceasefire in Syria. They must prevent any violations of the ceasefire in Wadi Barada. This region is facing a complete humanitarian disaster.

The aerial bombardments and shelling are launched with artillery and mortars. A number of people are killed and some are wounded. The staff and repairmen have not yet entered the water station and the water of Damascus is cut off. Unfortunately, the negotiation process is in the worst condition since it got deviated. The Assad regime has formulated the policy of changing the demography as well as the forced migrations instead of implementing the provisions of the ceasefire agreement.

He said Russia must now stand against the Iranian regime as well as Hezbollah. We all know that they have no desire to prevent the violation of ceasefire and to hold political talks. If Russia does not stop the violation of the ceasefire, it cannot guarantee a good future for Syria since the negotiations would be more difficult in the future. If Russia intends to play a role, it has to provide cast-iron guarantees so that people could see the results as well.
