The workers said:”the authorities ask us to start from scratch after 16 months of waiting. We are told to contact the General Inspection Office to make sure if our rights have been recognized during the auction. Although the authorities are aware of our problems they do not account our legal demands and rights.”

As Tasnim News Agency, affiliated with Qods Force, reported, a group of graduates of Petroleum University of Technology held a rally for the 4th time in front of Parliament On Sunday 25th December 2016 to protest against the indeterminable status of employment in the national oil company by the government and in particular by the Ministry of Petroleum.

The graduates believe that the faculty must employ the graduates to the Ministry of Petroleum based on GPA and according to the regulations. Unfortunately, the process was halted as the Ministry of Petroleum Bijan Namdar Zangeneh ordered.

These graduates could study in the best universities of the country since they obtained the highest grades in the University Entrance Exam. However, they chose to go to the hottest southern province of Iran to study at the Petroleum University of Technology in the hope of recruitment as they have been promised in the prospectus of Sanjesh Organization.
