NCRI – Following the summit of foreign ministers of Iran, Russia, and Turkey in Moscow, a trilateral statement was issued with 8 articles. It seems that the Iranian regime is the main loser of Moscow negotiations on Syria while the forces are evacuating Aleppo and according to the news published by the prime minister of Turkey, more than 40 thousand soldiers have left Aleppo in the afternoon of 22nd December 2016.
On Tuesday 20th December 2016, the state-run media reported that Russia, Turkey and the Iranian regime in a statement supported the sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity of Syria as the Arab Republic and a multi-racial, multi-religious, nondenominational and democratic government.
They were convinced that the clashes in Syria will not be resolved through military measures. It also affirms the role of United Nation for resolving the crisis according to the resolution 2254 of UN Security Council.
They are also concerned about the decisions made by the international supporters of Syria. The statement defends the evacuation of civilians and the evacuation of the Syrian Armed Opposition from Aleppo. It also assures that this process will be carried out securely and without any interruption.
Another article of the statement stipulates the agreement to extend ceasefire across Syria as well as the transfer of civilians. Iran, Syria, and Turkey expressed their readiness to facilitate and guarantee security for the agreement which is going to be signed following the meeting between the Syrian government and the Opposition in accordance with resolution 2254 of the Security Council.
Another point which was imposed on the Iranian regime is that the three countries recognize and officialize the Opposition groups and al-Nusra.
The Syrian opposition expressed their concern and strongly complained in the meeting held in Moscow about the fact that other countries determine the fate of nations although the real representatives of those countries are not present in the meeting.
As Al-Arabiya reports, the negotiator of the Syrian opposition, Riyadh Naasan Aqa stated that if Turkey had not been present, the enemies would have held a meeting, negotiated and decided on behalf of the Syrian people.
However, credible reports from Iran show that the agents of Khamenei call the imposed agreement as the second Iran deal that consists of 8 articles. It is also like a poison to Syrian people. A venomous factor was imposed on the Iranian regime by the resistance of fighters and the Syrian people. In addition to that, The international pressures and the fear of the new US president had the influence.
According to the statement:
-Syria is non-sectarian, multi-religious and democratic republic
-a ceasefire shall be established across the country
-despite the military interventions of the Iranian regime, the military measures will not end the crisis in Syria and the war must come to an end according to the resolution 2254 of UN Security Council.
-the military forces which the Iranian regime was willing to massacre shall evacuate Aleppo safe and sound and the armed Syrian opposition groups must be recognized.
The above statements show that the Iranian regime is the main loser of Moscow negotiations on Syria and it must end its criminal and infamous measures in Syria.
All-Jazeera reported that Turkey’s foreign minister ventured the audacity in the presence of Javad Zarif and called for ending further aids to Hezbollah which is the main factor that directly meddles in Syria.
