The Peoples Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) announced this afternoon Thursday, March 29, that the number of fatalities of Coronavirus in 199 cities across Iran exceeds 7,000. Numerous reports show that the death toll in Qom is more than 1,000, the fatalities in Alborz have passed 500, and in Central Province stand at 169. During the past 24 hours, at least 30 people have died in Tehran, 43 in Mazandaran, 30 in Khorasan Razavi, 15 in Hamadan, 15 in Kerman, and 16 in Gilan.

Iran: Prisoners Collectively Escape Khorramabad Prison, Several Shot Dead by Revolutionary Guards

This afternoon, March 19, 2020, prisoners at the Parsilon Prison in Khorramabad (western Iran), who were at risk of coronavirus infection, rebelled, disarmed the guards, and escaped. Prison guards and the repressive forces opened fire on about 250 fleeing inmates and killed several of them.

Female physician Dr. Shirin Rouhani Rad dies after battling coronavirus
Medical staff at the forefront of combating coronavirus in Iran due to the regime’s mismanagement leaving people defenseless.
Dr. Shirin Rouhani Rad, female physician and general practitioner of Shohada Hospital in Pakdasht, lost her life from coronavirus.
This female physician was one of Pakdasht’s doctors who was taken to Masih Daneshvari Hospital in Tehran after her condition deteriorated. She died on the last day of the Iranian year serving her compatriots in the fight against the deadly coronavirus. (The state-run TV News Agency – March 19, 2020)

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?
Friday, March 20, 2020, marks the 127th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
