NCRI – The Iranian regime revealed its fear of the spread of Justice-Seeking movement for the 1988 massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in Iran and official registration of a resolution in the U.S. congress in this regard.
The state-run ILNA news agency wrote on Wednesday September 28: “A new legislation is presented (registered) in the U.S. Congress which proposes allegations against the system (Iran regime) regarding executions (of political prisoners) in 1988. The legislation asks the United Nations to establish special committee to investigate the situation of human rights in Iran and identify individuals who were involved in that case.”
“The legislation of American Congress proposes that during four months in 1988, the Iranian regime has executed a number of political prisoners and today the elements who were responsible for this act are government officials,” ILNA added.
It should be noted that in a bipartisan resolution presented to the U.S. Congress this week, the lawmakers called for international investigation of the Iranian regime officials in order to prosecute and put on trial the perpetrators of the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in the summer of 1988 in Iran.
