Iran: More arrests and imprisonment in Iranian Kurdish region

NCRI – According to reports, Iranian regime’s intelligence and security forces without any judicial authorization have arrested three Kurdish compatriots in Saghez (Northwestern Iran) and transferred them to an unknown location.

The agents detained two youth named Salaheddin Mirzaei,22, and Amin (Alan) Alipoor, 25, in Baharestan district of Saghez on the night of Wednesday September 14. The detainees were then taken to an unknown location.

Also on Thursday September 15, the agents arrested another 31-year-old man named Hiva Dastbaz while he was on his way to his paternal house. Hiva is a graduate student in Saghez Azad University. Security forces have also inspected the houses of the three young Kurds and confiscated their notebooks, books and notes.

Also according to reports from Mahabad (Western Iran), Iranian regime’s court in has issued prison sentences for five political prisoners in Mahabad Prison for their cooperation with a Kurdish party.

The issued warrants are as follows: “Amir Abdollah Zadeh” six months imprisonment, “Heyman Ghazal” five months imprisonment, “Mozaffar Talaneh” six months imprisonment, “Pejman Imani” five months imprisonment and “Mohammad Shokri” five months imprisonment.
