NCRI – Officials of the mullahs’ regime have acknowledged that people in some villages and towns in Ilam Province (western Iran) and Yazd Province (central Iran) are deprived of drinking water.

Nourollah Teymouri, the director of Ilam Province Water and Wastewater Organization, said on Monday, May 16, that some 46 villages in the province have no drinking water system at the moment and are currently supplied with portable water systems.Teymouri added: “The main problem with the potable water supply in rural areas of the province is due to decay and erosion in the water pipelines and distribution networks, and this problem has increased with the floods in late April of this year.”

Separately in Yazd Province, the regime’s governor in the town of Behabad, Abbas Eghbal, acknowledged: “Some 70 percent of people in the town of Behabad are deprived of proper drinking water.”
