NCRI – According to reports from Iran, on Monday, May 9 intelligence agents in the notorious Gohardasht (Rajai-Shahr) Prison in Karaj, north-west of Tehran, organized for one of the inmates that colludes with them to get into a scuffle with political prisoner Behnam Ebrahimzadeh.

They then used the incident as an excuse to transfer Mr. Ebrahimzadeh from Ward 10 to Ward 2 in order to put him under pressure.

Mr. Ebrahimzadeh, who is serving a lengthy sentence, is a labor activist. His charges include “gathering and colluding” to commit national security crimes and propaganda against the regime. His son is believed to be suffering from leukemia.

His transfer took place on the order of the internal manager of the prison, Dariush Amirian.

Amirian works with the regime’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) to distribute and sell drugs in the prison in an effort to lead the imprisoned youths into addiction.

Amirian has amounted a vast wealth through this and other tactics. He is also notorious among inmates as a brutal and savage torturer of political prisoners.
