NCRI – Ingrid Holzhueter, Former member of German Bundestag, a long standing supporter of the Iranian Resistance, expressed her support to Maryam Rajavi’s third option for democratic change in Iran during her speech at the gathering of 30,000 Iranians near Paris. Excerpts of her speech are as follows:
Once again we have come together to express our rightful concerns about the people of Iran. The people who suffer under the rule of the mullahs’ fundamentalist regime and for sometime under the government of Ahmadinejad – who has surpassed his predecessors in implacability.
As the ones who love peace and freedom, we want no longer to witness the bombings, kidnappings and murders of human beings. We know who and what is behind all the abhorrence. A court in Berlin clearly indicated who was responsible for the assassination of Mikoonos Restaurant. An atomic bomb in such hands will be a danger to the international community, yes the whole world at the very basis.
The continuous appeasement policy has brought no positive results during the past years. Military intervention will leave many innocent casualties behind. The third option presented by Maryam Rajavi, hence a democratic change in Iran, remains the only desirable solution.
For such solution, first of all the Mojahedin Khalq must be removed from the terror list and secondly the National Council of Resistance of Iran must be supported.
The people of Iran with such historic and cultural background deserve respect and solidarity. It is not right that a dreading president such as Ahmadinejad who threatens the world with weapons of oil and mass destruction, rule them.
A friend in our group suggested that in tomorrow’s free Iran, in place of the structure built on top of Khomeini’s grave, a museum would be built where all the atrocities of this regime be displayed. I would like that beside this museum another structure be built in which the history of this resistance and its people be displayed, all the sacrifice on one hand but their capacity, patience and endurance for 27 years on the other.
I should say here that the Iranian regime using its cover associations in Germany that is run by the hideous Intelligence Ministry, has sent me letters and has tried to prevent me from supporting the Iranian Resistance with negative publicities. I have supported this resistance and insist on this support with complete knowledge and familiarity with this resistance for years. Iran’s secret service agents should know that the place of their next letter is in the rubbish bin.
Dear friends, safeguard the power and the burning fire in your hearts. In the end goodness and integrity will prevail. This is the will of our lord. Viva Maryam Rajavi
