NCRI – The fundamentalist regime in Iran is responsible for death and destruction across the entire Middle East, Mr. Jamal Ali Bu Hassan, Member of Parliament from Bahrain, has said.

Mr. Bu Hassan addressed a Geneva conference on September 18 on the sidelines of the 30th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
Iranians plan to rally outside the United Nations in New York on September 28 to denounce the visit by the mullahs’ President Hassan Rouhani to the UN General Assembly.
The rally, which is being organized by the Organization of Iranian-American Communities (OIAC), will press the international community to hold the regime in Iran accountable for its abhorrent human rights record.
The mullahs’ regime in Iran continues to execute more of its citizens per capita than any other U.N. member state. Some 2000 people have been executed under Rouhani in the past two years.

Human Rights Situation in the Middle East

Ladies and gentlemen, I appreciate to sit with you and to talk with you about the Iranian regime. Actually I came from Bahrain. I think everybody here knows many things about Bahrain. Bahrain is a small island in the middle of the Gulf. It means that my country is a neighbor and very close to Iran. I explain for you what we are facing with this regime, the Iranian regime.
The Iranian regime exports a lot of things to us. We import lots of things from Iran. I think you ask us what you are importing from Iran: Treason. The Iranian regime exports for us treason by betraying the people to make problems in Bahrain. They want to remove us from our country. They do not respect any of us. The Iranian regime does not respect its neighbors. They want for us to follow and believe what they believe by force, by treason. So they do not respect us. They do not respect our beliefs. They want from us to follow what they believe by force. We respect everybody, we respect all the region. But they do not respect us; I mean the Iranian regime.
Do you know what the Iranian regime is doing in my country? They are dividing us in two parts. We are one. But the Iranian regime is dividing us in two parts; Sunni and Shia. I am sorry to say it like that. This is the effect. They keep our citizens in two, Sunni and Shia. Before we were one family. Now we are two families. Can you believe that? This is because of the Iranian regime and what they believe in. The Iranian regime says Bahrain is our country. And that we should take this island. To follow their beliefs. This is number one.
Number two: The Iranian regime is killing our people. Why are they killing our people? To put in his mind what they believe in, to follow them. Some people in my cities believe what the Iranian regime is thinking and what they need. What is the target of the Iranian people?
By the way. Can I force anybody here to believe what I believe? I cannot. Because I respect you. I respect everybody here. I am sure everybody here respects what I believe. But the Iranian regime says NO. You should follow what I believe. That is their object of human rights. From 1979, before that we were in peace in the area. But after that we are in the war area.
When we saw Khomeini in 1979 we no longer saw peace. We meet the killer, we meet treason. This man brought us to the dangerous area. And other things. He gave a very bad impression about Islam, our religion. Before Khomeini, everybody respected our religion. It is your religion, we respect you, your religion; we respect all religions. After Khomeini I don’t think people believe that Islam is the religion of peace. Because they saw the killing, they saw the bad things. Why? Because they [the fundamentalists] believe that we should kill everybody who does not believe what we believe in. I think I talk lot about beliefs. Because our war with them is for believing.
The Iranian regime is not just killing other countries’ citizens. No. They are killing also the Iranian citizens. The Iranian people are a nice people. But the regime keeps them under the poverty line. Some 60% of the Iranian people are under the poverty line. This country is very rich. Why are there so many poor people in this country? I am sorry to say it like that about our neighboring country but this is the effect. We should follow the human rights law and human rights procedure. We are in a human rights place. This regime does not respect the agreement. These people do not respect the procedures and the laws. We should to pressure this regime to stop what it is doing. Thank you very much.
