NCRI – The Iranian Resistance is calling for saving the lives of 13 prisoners in Ghezel-Hessar Prison of Karaj and Bandar Abbas Prison who have been transferred to solitary confinement in preparation for their executions and it urges international human rights institutions to take urgent action to halt these criminal executions.

On Sunday, September 6, eleven prisoners on death row in Ghezel-Hessar Prison and two more in Bandar Abbas Prison were transferred to solitary confinement for their executions.

A day prior, a 45-year-old prisoner and father of six was hanged in the central prison of Zabol.

Meanwhile, the anti-riot unit of Karaj Central Prison barbarically attacked the prisoners for the second time in recent weeks destroying and plundering the prisoners’ belongings. In addition to employing all kinds of tortures and pressures and imposing harsh prison conditions on the prisoners, the clerical regime also targets the prisoners with constant attacks, beating and humiliating them. Repetitive recent raids on wards 7 and 8 of the Evin Prison and Ward 3 and Hall 12, Ward 4 of Gohardasht (Rajai Shahr) Prison are among these cases.

The religious fascism ruling Iran, dubbed the “Godfather of ISIS” by the Iranian people, has found its only solution in confronting its many escalating internal and international crises after the nuclear deal in ratcheting up suppression and executions.
