Iran: Further suppression dubbed “undercover patrols”

Iran: Further suppression dubbed “undercover patrols”NCRI – In fear of more uprisings by the people of various provinces in Iran, the mullahs’ regime has resorted to suppressive plans to combat the efforts by the people.

On July 4, the head of State Security Forces’ traffic division in Greater Tehran Brig. Gen. Hossein Sajedi-Niya announced the formation of a new suppressive force called “undercover patrols,” according to the state-run news agency Mehr.

He said, “The patrols’ duty is not just traffic control but also to get involved in other police matters … when the situation warrants.”

The Iranian Resistance calls on all international human rights organizations to condemn the crimes of the mullahs’ regime against the Iranian people.
