NCRI – According to Iraqi daily Assabah, June 24, the city of Karbala was the scene of a major demonstration against the Iranian regime and its news media for their poisonous and aggressive propaganda against Iraq and their psychological war on Iraq. More than 20 thousand people took part in a demonstration in Shiite dominated city of Karbala on Friday.
Seyyed Dhia Al-Moussawi, in charge of the office of Ayatollah Mahmoud Al-Hassani in Karbala, told Assabah that the demonstration "expressed the views of a large sector of the people of Iraq against the Iranian regime’s role in Iraq."
