I laud your efforts in exposing the Iranian regimes fundamentalist meddling in Iraq

I laud your efforts in exposing the Iranian regimes fundamentalist meddling in IraqMember of the British Parliament, Brian Binley sent a message to Ashraf City on the 3rd anniversary of unwarranted French Police raid on NCRI offices, welcoming 5.2 million Iraqi’s support for the People’s Mojahedin of Iran.  Excerpts of the message:

I voice support for Mrs Maryam Rajavi and I pay homage to the tens of thousands who have fallen in the cause of freedom in Iran. What I have found more than impressive, is the solidarity of millions of Iraqi people with the Peoples Mujahedeen of Iran.

My apologies for not getting the language quite right, but I am doing my best as you will see, but I really congratulate and work in solidarity with you as a counter balance to Tehran’s regime of meddling in Iraq and as a string barrier against the export of fundamentalism.

Excerpts of the message:

Salam Ashraf and hello the freedom loving peoples of Iran. You will notice that I have an England badge on, whilst I support the Council for resistance in Iran, with all my heart and with all my effort…

I simply wanted to congratulate you on this rally, marking the 3rd anniversary of the unwarranted and totally unjustified raid by the French police on the headquarters of the NCRI in France.

The mere holding of this gathering under these difficult circumstances is truly commendable. I find it quite fitting that you have gathered to commend the policy of appeasement that lead to the 17th June 2003 raid.

I voice support for Mrs Maryam Rajavi and I pay homage to the tens of thousands who have fallen in the cause of freedom in Iran. What I have found more than impressive, is the solidarity of millions of Iraqi people with the Peoples Mujahedeen. There is no more terrifying prospect for world peace and security, than a nuclear armed religious dictatorship, which terrorises its people at home and openly sponsors terrorism abroad.

To condemn the recent terrorist attack on a bus carrying innocent Iraqi workers for Camp Ashraf is a must for every democrat and I support that condemnation.

Let me now turn to Mrs Rajavi. I have been fortunate to meet Mrs Rajavi and share a meal with her and found her to have quite remarkable and if I may say so, courageous politics. She is a leader that offers hope for the millions of Iranians who are suffering and depressed by the mullahs rule.

I therefore take this opportunity to laud your efforts in exposing the Iranian regimes fundamentalist meddling in your country, particularly in the perpetration of countless atrocities in southern Iraq and by their fermenting of sectarian violence.

Can I also agree with you wholeheartedly that the government of Iraq must reaffirm the rights of the Peoples Mujahedeen to political asylum in that country. You have lived in Iraq since 1986 and consequently the Peoples Mujahedeen have been entitled from the very beginning. I send you my good wishes and I toast you for all your efforts and would say next year Tehran.

Thank you
