At least two gunmen attacked the headquarters of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris, on Wednesday, January 7 at 11:30. Twelve people died according to the prosecution and six seriously injured. Two policemen were among the dead. The attackers are on the run.

The NCRI’s Foreign Affairs Committee strongly condemns the killing and also the extreme use of violence. Cowardly attack on innocent journalists under any pretext is a heinous crime and contrary to the values taught by Islam and all other major religions. We offer our condolences and express our solidarity with the families of the victims.
