NCRI – Another high-ranking commander of the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guards Corp (IRGC), who has been killed in Syria fighting for the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, was buried Thursday in city of Ahvaz, in southern Iran.

IRGC Brigadier General Bajar Darisavi was killed on October 9 in Damascus according to the state-run media reports in Iran.

During past four weeks at least 16 men killed in Syria have been buried in Iran. Those killed included citizens of Afghanistan, members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corp (IRGC) and a cleric.

Another IRGC member was buried on September 16, 2014 in city of Shahrud. The burial took place on the same day that the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guards Corp (IRGC) reaffirmed support for the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad.

IRGC Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said that “support of the Syrian regime will continue.”
