Iran – Human Rights: 15 executed on September 1, 2014

NCRI – Further reports regarding executions in recent days reveal that just on September 1, the clerical regime has executed 15 prisoners.
At least 10 prisoners from Ghezel Hessar Prison of Karaj were collectively hanged.These prisoners have been involved in recent protest in prison, the reports said.

A group of four prisoners were executed in a prison in city of Hamedan according to an announcement made by the regime’s judiciary in the city.

A prisoner called Bandani of 30 years of age and from Eizeh Township (southern Iran) was hanged in Zahedan’s central prison. This prisoner was a laborer in the town of Chahar Bahar (Sistan and Baluchistan Province, eastern Iran).

Therefore, the number of executions just in the past two weeks reaches 45 and it includes two women. Four of these prisoners were publicly hanged in the cities of Mahmoudabad and Sari (north), Borazjan (south), and Khoy (northwest).
