Iran: Another round of arbitrary arrests

The Iranian regime has launched another round of arbitrary arrests against political, civil and religious activists.
The intelligence ministry summoned and arrested two young poets on December 7 and transferred to a cell looked over by the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).

On Tuesday, December 24, police raided resident of three students in the city of Shahr-e Kord and arrested them.

The three were majoring in veterinary at Shahr-e Kord Azad University.

On the same day, agents of the intelligence ministry in the province of Gorgan raided resident of a Baha’i civilian and after searching the whole place, they arrested Mojdeh Zohouri and confiscated her books, mobile phone and several personal belongings.

Mojdeh is the wife of an imprisoned Baha’i who has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
