Iran: Residents of western city protest execution of Kurdish prisoners

NCRI – A large number of residents of the city of Marivan, in western Iran, on Tuesday rallied in the city to protest the execution three Kurdish political prisoners.

Despite the heavy presence of the State Security Forces in the city, the residents rallied in the city’s main street.

According to the reports received, a number of participants were arrested by the security forces. A Payam-e Nour University student was arrested by the security forces.

The Iranian regime has hanged at least three Kurdish political prisoners during the past two week. Habibollah Golparipour, Raza Ismaeili, Shirko Moarefi were hanged in prisons in cities of Urumieh, Salams and Saqqez.
