Australian MPs Support Plan for Democratic Change in Iran

Australian MPs and activists support plan for democratic change in IranNCRI – Australia’s Parliamentarians from New South Wales, human rights, and women’s rights activists expressed their support for Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s proposed third option for democratic change in Iran through people and their resistance.

In a meeting at the New South Wales Federal Parliament chaired by Peter Murphy, the Secretary General of “Search Foundation,” and the coordinator for Peace and Justice Organization in New South Wales, speakers also called for the removal of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, the main opposition to mullahs’ regime, from the terror lists in Europe and the U.S.

The meeting was held on the initiative of the “Australian Supporters of Democracy in Iran,” a Parliamentary Human Rights group, and the speakers included, Dr. Arthur Chesterfield, member of the New South Wales Federal Parliament and leader of Australian Democrats in NSW, Silvia Hill, Greens Party MP, Penny Sharp, Labor MP and Jocelyn Scutt, renowned Australian writer and university lecturer.
