NCRI – Clerical regime’s parliament (Majlis) approved the outlines of a bill setting out a new dress code as summer hot season approaching, IRNA, state-run news agency, reported on Monday, May15.
In early April strict rules were put in force for women as well as men to make them observe mullahs’ code of dressing. Special force was sent out on streets to enforce harsh measures and arrest offenders. The move provoked widespread protests and young people defied the regime’s suppressive measures.
The new bill whose outlines were approved by Majlis is seen as a move to legalize suppression under the pretext of code of dressing which aims at young people.
