According to reports, a Baha’i prisoner in Rajaei-Shahr prison in the city of Karaj near Tehran has become severely ill and security agents prevent his treatment.
Saeed Rezaei was arrested during a raid on 14 May 2008.
Sources close to prisoner’s family say Rezaei was transferred to hospital in late July due to acute gastrointestinal disease. He also suffers from severe coronary artery stenosis and must undergo surgery.
