Ahmadinejad threatens ‘mortal revelations’ against Iran’s ruling elite

NCRI – Outgoing Iranian regime’s president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has warned that is prepared to make ‘mortal revelations’ about senior politicians close to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Ahmadinejad’s deputy Mohammad-Jaafar Behdad threatened the regime’s ruling elite with a ‘tsunami’ of information exposing political and economic scandals over the past eight years.

Behdad said the information had so far remained a secret, but Ahmadinejad was now considering a deadline to make it public.

He said: “I must sadly say that the smell of stench and vengeance from the political and cultural positions of several conservatives has made them untrustworthy to the people.”

The potential time-bomb of revelations comes in revenge for the discovery of a ‘sedition club’ using the code name ‘deviance’ made up of Ahmadinejad’s enemies in the regime, including members of Hezbollah who had now turned against him, Behdad said.

The documents being held by Ahmadinejad could trigger a ‘deep and serious crisis’ for many regime officials, Behdad warned on a website on July 9.
