Iranians chant anti-regime slogans in cities across the country

NCRI – Simultaneous with residents of Tehran, Iranians in cities across the country turned celebrations for victory in football match to protest against the clerical regime ruling in Iran.

In central city of Isfahan, residents in Khajoo Bridge area clashed with State Security Forces. The SSF used tear gas to try to disperse the crowd. Until 11:00 pm local time more residents were joining the crowd. In nearby area also people chanted anti-regime slogans.

In northern city of Qaemshahr, the Iranian regime’s anti-riot forces and plainclothes agents attacked protesters who were chanting “Do not be afraid, we are all together.” The agents beat the protesters with batons. A number of protesters were injured.

In western city of Kermanshah, large crowds of protesters chanted “Free political prisoners.”

In northwestern city of Tabriz, as large crowd gathered in the city State Security Forces occupied the city and began to disperse the crowd.
