NCRI – Prison guards at Gohardasht prison have attacked inmates and confiscated television in the latest in a catalogue of abuses on political prisoners in Iranian regime.
Prisoners had bought TVs at great cost from the prison store, before guards removed them from their cells on May 19.
Prisoners have also been deprived of medical treatment, attacked, beaten and forced to sit in direct sunlight.
Many attacks are carried out in the presence of prison manager Karaj Ali Mohammadi, the former deputy of Gohardasht Prison and responsible for the massacre of political prisoners in the 80s, according to reports.
Meanwhile, Iranian regime’s intelligence ministry agents are refusing medical treatment for prisoner Behnam Irani, a priest, who is suffering serious skin disease and needs to be treated in a hospital.
