NCRI – More than 700 workers and retired employees of Metal Industry in Iran gathered outside Tehran governor’s office on Sunday to protest non-payment of their wages.
The workers have not received salaries for the past four months and their New Year bonus.
The retired employees who had joined the worker’s protested the negligence of the factory employers and the non-payment of their yearly pension.
Workers said despite repeated protest for the non-payment of salaries the authorities have not responded to their demands.
The workers stated that they will continue with their protest until they reach their demands.
