Iranian regime arrests movie theater spectators for chanting anti-regime slogans

NCRI – The Iranian regime’s suppressive State Security Forces have arrested three dozen movie theater spectators in city of Isfahan for chanting anti-regime slogans.  A group of young spectators chanted “Death to Velayat-e faqih [Ali Khamenei],” shortly after the movie began and most of the spectators joined them.

The theater turned to a scene of anti-regime protests on Sunday February 11, the day which Iranian regime is holding stage-managed pro-regime protests and heavy repressive measures are imposed.

Fearing the consequences, the managers at Bahaman movie theater in Isfahan contacted the SSF which shorty arrived at the scene.  The SSF forces sealed off all entry and exit points and arrested 35 young spectators. The detainees were  transferred to SSF stations in two vans.

One employee at the movie theater said the majority of spectators had joined the group chanting anti-regime slogans.
